as I always say, Gamecove is one of my go-to gaming stuff stores. It has never let me down with its good service and the variety of stuff it has. As for the RP5, I thought long and hard before jumping the gun on this and I don't regret it! It's not plug and play like your Anbernics and Trimuis, but if you put a little bit of effort in setting it up (takes a weekend of watching Retro Game Corp channel) but it's worth it. If you have the budget, a higher end handheld gaming PC might be a better idea, but for me I already have a Switch so for now this RP5 is OK for my retro game needs, but who knows, a Steam Deck, Odin or Ally X might be in the future for me if I"m blessed hehe.

Purchased Retroid Pocket 5

Initial impressions both quite positive in some areas and less so others:Positives: Holy shit that screen It's so light GameCube games feel almost native on this device Have had no issues streaming PS5 and it looks gorgeous doing so.Negatives: Slippery (if someone makes a silicone grip for this that would solve it and help a lot) Stick throw is short Triggers are quite stiffOverall, happy with the purchase and I do believe it's better for me than G Cloud

Purchased Anbernic RG556

This is one of the best gaming handhelds ever released. It comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that can emulate almost all retro platforms from gameboy up to switch emulation. Has a very high capacity battery that lasts days on standby. Customer service is also the best because the first unit i received had a screen issue and they opted to replace the unit immediately. They promised to uphold the warranty is now 1 year as per AYN. Will update in the future if ever it comes to pass. Overall very good unit and customer service.
